Tulsa Council: Lori Decter Wright praises Bellis fascist rant

District 4 Tulsa City Councilor-elect Laura Bellis, speaking at a recent fundraiser for incumbent District 7 Councilor and Council Chairman Lori Decter Wright, called the three challengers in the November 8, 2022, runoff, "actual fascists," called Decter Wright's opponent a "Nazi," and said that she has reported him to the...

Re-elect Governor Kevin Stitt

Oklahoma hasn't elected a Democrat to statewide office since 2006. Since 2004, every county in Oklahoma has given a plurality of its vote in every presidential election to the Republican nominee. Voter registration, a lagging indicator, continues to trend toward the GOP across the state, most strongly in southeastern Oklahoma,...

Tim Harris for Tulsa School Board

As a prosecutor who has seen the tragic results of failed public schools, as a long-time volunteer serving young people, as an administrator with responsibility over a complex organization, and as a devout Christian husband, father, and grandfather, Tim Harris has the values and experience we need on the Tulsa school board.

Vote no confidence in Tulsa Public Schools on Tuesday, June 8, 2021

Disappointed with Tulsa Public School's bloated and inept administration? A "no" vote in Tuesday's (June 8, 2021) TPS bond election is an effective way to cast a vote of no confidence and register a demand for real change.

HB 1775 and Critical Race Theory

The substance of HB 1775 occupies a mere page and a third, 282 words by my count. So why should mainstream media mischaracterize the bill, when they could easily quote the entire text?

Independence Day 2020: Are flags in churches idolatry?

The Trojan horse of critical race theory and intersectionality

This conversation is well worth an hour and a half of your time. The topic is critical race theory and intersectionality and how those ideas destroy any community that grants them entrance. It is essential listening for understanding the times, a comprehensive overview of these concepts and their impact, delivered...

2018 Tulsa district judge elections

Here are the nuts and bolts of how we elect judges in Tulsa and Pawnee counties.

Look for the Chamber label -- then vote for someone else

It may seem counter-intuitive, but if you're a conservative, the Chamber of Commerce is not your friend. Not the U. S. Chamber of Commerce, not the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce, not the Tulsa Regional Chamber. If you're a conservative voting in the Republican primary, look to see whom the Chambers are supporting, then give your vote to some other candidate. If the Chambers are attacking a Republican candidate, she's probably worthy of your enthusiastic backing.

Fair Tax, Bernest Cain, DelGiorno in a fat suit

I had the pleasure of being Gwen Freeman's sidekick this morning on 1170 KFAQ. Michael DelGiorno was at home, part of a reality TV segment that will run on NBC's Today later this month -- his pregnant wife is being pampered at a hotel, while Michael wears a pregnancy prosthesis...
